This was one of the first songs we wrote and it is usually the first song we play at a gig. However, it has been really hard to record. It took many takes to achieve something we are happy with.
It is called Voctopus because we used the Voctopus vocoder when we first wrote it. We took that part out, but the name stuck.
lyrics
Take it all away, take it all away
I know myself now, I know myself now
Are you gonna play, are you gonna play
Now everyone's out, now everyone's out
Now everyone's out
All you hiding underwater
Take your sons are daughters
Bring them to your living quarters
and show them how to dance
All you hiding underwater
Take your sons are daughters
Bring them to your living quarters
and show them how to dance
This is your last chance

The latest album from Leeds band "Hope and Social". It kicks ass. Check out the mad vocals in "Sleep Sound", the awesome guitar riff in "Rolling Sideways" and the calypso vibes in "Back to the Green". Rosie
The almighty Sam Collier music! Long time friends of Rosie, this is a collection of lovely original recordings. One day we will persuade him to give up his life of programming and record a full album. Rosie
